# Create Datastore

Within your project dashboard click Infrastructure.

In the project infrastructure dashboard click Configurations in the side panel.

Click Create Configuration.

Within the create configuration dashboard click Add Component.

In the component selection menu click Database.

Provide a name for your database, select a database type and choose you database version.

Choose which metrics to collect for your database.

Enter any required environment variables.

Click Done.

In the create configuration dashboard click Create.
