# Configure Storage

This guide walks you through the steps to configure a storage component within your project. Follow the instructions carefully to set up your storage effectively.

# Steps to Configure Storage

1. Navigate to the Project Dashboard and click on Infrastructure.
   
   

2. In the side panel, click Configurations.
   
   

3. Click   Create
   
   

4. On the Create Configuration dashboard, click Add Component.

5. Scroll down to the Components section.
   
   

6. Click New Component.
   
   

7. Select Storage from the list of components.
   
   

8. Click Add to include the storage component in your configuration.
   
   

9. Provide a Name for your storage component.

   Tip: Use descriptive names to clearly identify the purpose of the storage component in your project.

10. Activate Public Access if required.
    
    

    Note: Enable public access only if your project requires publicly accessible storage. Keep it disabled for private or sensitive data.

11. Select the metrics you want to collect for the storage component.

    

    The total number of requests made to your storage component over a given period. Helps track traffic volume.

    measures the time it takes to retrieve data from your storage component. Affects overall performance of your application.

12. Click Done to save your changes.
    
    

13. To finalize your storage configuration click Create
