AWS Repository Connections

The Infrastructure > Connections view lists repository connections available through the project's AWS configuration. These are AWS CodeConnections and are separate from the organisation-level Git account connection used to browse repositories in StationOps.

Create a Connection

1. Confirm project AWS settings include the intended account and region.
2. Open Infrastructure > Connections.
3. Select Create Connection.
4. Continue in the AWS console and authorise the repository provider.
5. Return to StationOps and refresh the list.

Create the connection in the same AWS region used by the relevant project infrastructure. A connection that remains pending in AWS cannot be used by delivery resources.

When to Use Which Connection

• Organisation Git Accounts let StationOps list and inspect GitHub or GitLab repositories.
• Project Infrastructure Connections let AWS delivery services access a repository through CodeConnections.

A project may need both, depending on the selected service source and deployment target.

Troubleshooting

• Verify the AWS account and region before recreating the connection.
• Open the connection in AWS and confirm its status is available.
• Reauthorise the provider if ownership or installation permissions changed.
• Confirm the repository is still visible to the provider identity used during authorisation.
